A solar powered lamp is a lamp that uses solar power as a source of electrical energy. Usually this solar powered lamp is equipped with several components in order to work optimally, consisting of an LED light, a solar panel, and a rechargeable battery. This tool is also known as LED solar panel lights.
Regarding how it works, the LED solar panel light will turn on from 6pm to 6am, depending on the sunrise and sunset in the area. To turn on or turn off the lights can be done automatically, using either a light sensor or a timer.
The setting of the lamp power source is done by the SCC (Solar Charger Controller). This component will regulate the discharge process (energy to the lamp so that it turns on) and charge (energy to the battery from the solar panel). As long as this process occurs without problems, the lamp can function properly to provide illumination.
In Indonesia, the application of solar powered lights is dominated by PJU lights (street lighting), because they are placed on the side of the road. For example, protocol roads, along toll roads, roads in residential areas, industrial areas, and other public facilities.
